Allowing vehicle to be shut down in the event of an emergency or to secure vehicle when not in use, battery disconnect switches control the electrical supply to the vehicle. Single pole and double pole versions with two separate circuits are offered for vehicles equipped with an alternator. The standard duty switch is pre-mounted in a 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" aluminum panel with brightly screen printed graphics to indicate the On/Off position. With 3/8"-24 terminals, the switch is rated at 175 amp continuous duty. The double pole switch also has 10-32 studs rated at 20 amp continuous duty.
